Deerfield Beach, FL – A new poll of the FL-23 Democratic primary by the Center for Strategic Politics shows Oliver Larkin taking a commanding lead over Jared Moskowitz after voters heard balanced information about both candidates.
In an initial head-to-head, Moskowitz leads Larkin 45%-11%, with 44% undecided—a weak position for an incumbent below 50% support.
After positive information is presented for both candidates, Larkin leapfrogs Moskowitz 49%-36%, with just 15% undecided. Larkin builds his lead after negative information is presented, 51%-32%, with 17% undecided.
The poll notably finds FL-23 Democratic primary voters want to condition, reduce, or cease military aid to Israel by a roughly two-to-one margin, with 30% in support of ceasing aid, 33% supporting conditions or a reduction in aid, 21% support for maintaining current aid, and just 9% support for increasing aid, with 7% undecided.
Voters opposed military strikes on Iran by a 50-point margin.
“South Floridians are ready for leaders that reject the corrupting influence of corporate PACs, fight for Medicare for All, and will take on Donald Trump to win the battle for democracy,” campaign manager Zack Bofshever said in a statement. “When voters learn about Oliver, our campaign picks up unmistakable momentum over Jared Moskowitz. Change is coming to South Florida, the Democratic Party, and the United States Congress.”
The poll was conducted in English using SMS to 491 likely Democratic voters and weighted by age, race, and gender. The margin of error is 4.42%. The Center for Strategic Politics, which made its poll memo and crosstabs available, previously polled the New York City Democratic mayoral primary between Zohran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo in June 2025.
