“Donald Trump has incited his supporters against Ilhan Omar since the day she took office. When Jared Moskowitz arrived in Congress, he fell in line. He called Omar ‘rabid,’ said he ‘agreed with most criticisms of Omar,’ and has developed a disturbing pattern of singling out women and people of color among his Democratic colleagues,” said Larkin.

Larkin Calls for New Gun Safety Laws and Condemns Antisemitic Mass Shooting
“College students, Jewish worshippers, and every single human being deserves the security and freedom to be safe from gun violence,” said Larkin. “Yesterday’s targeting of college students at Brown University during their final exams and the antisemitic attack on Jewish Australians celebrating their faith on the first night of Hanukkah stain our collective humanity."
“Members of Congress should not be personally profiting from our broken and corrupt healthcare industry,” Larkin said. “The United States is the wealthiest nation not to guarantee healthcare as a right, while we pay twice as much per capita as other nations."
Oliver Larkin congratulated Mayor-elect Eileen Higgins and Miami voters for electing the first woman mayor in the city’s history and the first Democrat in nearly 30 years. “South Floridians are demanding an end to ICE’s abuses, lower costs, and an economy that works for everyone,” Larkin said.
“Freedom of religion and equal protection under the law are core concepts of our constitutional system—one that Governor DeSantis flagrantly violates with yesterday’s political stunt of an executive order,” said Larkin.
“This fight is about dignity, stability, and the right to a fair workplace,” Larkin said. “When CEO Brian Niccol takes home nearly $100 million while baristas make $16 an hour and struggle to afford rent in South Florida, something is deeply wrong. Corporate greed has consequences, and working people feel them every day.”

Jared Moskowitz.
“Rep. Moskowitz is one of just three House Democrats appointed by Leader Hakeem Jeffries to serve on the Republicans' January 6 subcommittee. Why hasn’t he bothered to speak out all week against Donald Trump’s lawless ongoing assault on democracy and attempt to erase the history of his 2020 election loss?” Larkin said.
On Tuesday, November 4 at 8 pm ET, Oliver for Congress will host an Election Night Watch Party featuring a speaker lineup with several prominent South Florida progressive advocates and community leaders.
Larkin Slams Trump’s Venezuela Killings, Moskowitz’s Silence, and TPS Rollback
“They are desperate to convince people that ICE raids, mass deportations, and covert CIA regime change operations are necessary. Without inventing an enemy to be fought, it is harder to sell the illegal domestic searches and seizures, violations of immigration law, and abuses at the hands of these masked ICE officers—much less another catastrophic United States regime change war of choice.”

"The governor’s budget still doesn’t include the funding to buy land south of Lake Okeechobee and stop the discharges into the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie rivers that crippled tourism last summer.
