Boca Raton, FL — Congressional candidate Oliver Larkin appeared on Maple Takes TV this week, part of the campaign’s growing engagement with independent digital media platforms reaching audiences in the U.S. and abroad.
Maple Takes TV, a Canadian political commentary platform based in Toronto, Ontario with a domestic and international online audience, provided Larkin an opportunity to speak directly to viewers outside traditional U.S. political media channels.
The interview focused on Larkin’s primary challenge to Rep. Jared Moskowitz, his opposition to corporate PAC funding, and his platform centered on economic justice, foreign policy, and immigration.
“Billionaire greed is the paramount issue of our time, and we need more members of Congress who will fight for working class Americans against the billionaire,” said Larkin.
Larkin emphasized the contrast between his campaign and establishment Democrats, reiterating his commitment to reject corporate PAC money and support policies including a $25 minimum wage, Medicare for All, and ending U.S. involvement in endless wars.
“We are the highest income nation on earth and we still don’t guarantee healthcare as a right. We pay more per capita than countries like Canada, and people are still going into debt or avoiding care altogether. That’s a direct result of a system that puts profit over people, and it’s something we have to fundamentally change,” Larkin said in the livestream.
The appearance is part of a broader digital strategy that includes livestreams, Twitch appearances, and interviews with independent creators. The campaign has prioritized engaging voters through non-traditional media, reaching audiences who are often disengaged from or underserved by cable news and legacy political outlets.
Maple Takes TV livestream viewers contributed more than 40 donations in real time, reflecting continued small-dollar grassroots engagement.
“Our campaign is meeting people where they are,” Larkin said. “We’re having direct conversations with voters, not filtered through corporate media.”
The campaign reported raising over $325,000 from more than 5,000 grassroots donors in the 2026 election cycle in the April 15 FEC Q1 report.
