Deerfield Beach, FL — The Labor Community Alliance of South Florida announced its unanimous endorsement of Oliver Larkin for Congress in Florida’s 23rd District.

“Oliver aligns with our vision of true public service and a people-centered democracy,” the Alliance’s letter of endorsement read. “He is running a fully grassroots campaign—no corporate donors, no lobbyist money, and no special-interest influence—so he can represent the working class with integrity and independence. At a moment when voters are demanding accountability, moral clarity, and leadership that refuses to bow to corporate power, our Alliance recognizes Oliver Larkin as a candidate who embodies our principles and our vision for a just future.”

The Labor Community Alliance of South Florida brings together workers, union members, community leaders, immigrants, caregivers, educators, and organizers committed to building real power for the people of South Florida.

Larkin has helped lead the political campaign industry unionization effort as a member of the organizing committee to unionize Revolution Messaging with the NewsGuild-Communication Workers of America, Washington-Baltimore Local 32035 and as an original signatory on the letter establishing the Campaign Workers Guild, both in 2018.

“Our campaign is proud to work alongside the Labor Community Alliance of South Florida to build power organized around our shared commitment to justice, dignity, and a politics grounded in the needs of working-class families,” Larkin said. “We cannot rely on political machines or a corporate establishment that have driven half of Floridians to consider leaving our state due to the cost of living and affordability crisis.
